Patrick Lencioni

In his work as a Management consultant, Patrick Lencioni found that most organizational problems are rooted in dysfunctional human relationships. In 1997 he founded The Table Group, aiming to help companies build and maintain strong and effective teams that contribute to a healthy corporate culture.

Since that year, he published the books "The Five Dysfunctions of a Team", "Silos", "Politics and Turf Wars", and "Three Signs of a Miserable Job". In his works he analyzes group dynamics and develops the idea that, while conflict is positive because it encourages debate, competition is harmful because it reduces productivity and wastes resources.
